I’ll keep this brief…

I initially started ‘A City By The Sea’ as a creative outlet for myself. I have lived and worked in the North East all of my life. As a result, I am passionate about celebrating the local area. Having studied and practiced as a Graphic Designer throughout my twenties, I felt like I could combine my skills and passion into something more coherent and tangible. Since its inception, I have developed my design skills to create a range of designs across print and other products, whilst collaborating with other businesses in the local area.

Living in Whitley Bay, it won't come as a surprise to read I’m mostly inspired by the local coastline. The North East is an area full of beauty, as well as the most friendly and supportive community. I feel so lucky to have so much inspiration right on my doorstep. Fuelled by my passion for the local area, I hope to continue to showcase and celebrate the North East as a whole.
